There are 42 main missions in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, five of which can only be completed after the end credits have finished rolling. As players will quickly learn, some of the story quests are quite a lot longer than others, with the last pre-credit main mission clocking in at around forty-five minutes once all’s said and done.
A full story playthrough will take most players at least 20 hours, although that time can start to balloon pretty quickly when completing side quests and research tasks alongside the main story. This list of every Pokemon Legends: Z-A main mission should give players an idea of how much more of the story they still have to complete.

After rolling credits, players will unlock five additional main story missions, the first of which becomes available immediately after the credits have finished rolling. These missions give players an opportunity to catch themselves a few Legendary Pokemon while also pushing their battle skills to the absolute limit. Despite their difficulty, though, they’re a nice reward for a job well done and are well worth hanging around for.
