Realme is expected to launch the 16 series smartphones soon, which will likely include the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ models. In the meantime, details about the upcoming devices have already started surfacing online. Now, the launch date of the Realme 16 series has leaked online. Here’s everything you should know.

Realme 16 Pro Series India Launch Date Leaked

According to information shared by Sanju Choudhary, the Realme 16 Pro series – comprising the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+ – is set to launch in India on January 6. The tipster also claims that the base model of the Realme 16 Pro will start with an 8GB/128GB configuration.

Additionally, the Pro+ variant is said to feature a telephoto lens. However, Realme is yet to confirm the same, so we’d suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.

Realme 16 Pro Series: What to Expect?

The Realme 16 Pro+ 5G is also said to come with four RAM and storage combinations. The base model may offer 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, followed by 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and a top-end 12GB + 512GB variant. The phone is also tipped to launch in three colour options: Camellia Pink, Master Gold, and Master Grey.

Moreover, the Realme 16 Pro+ 5G may opt for a 200MP main rear camera and a 50MP front camera. It’s also expected to sport a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. The phone could pack a 7,000mAh battery, which would be a significant upgrade over the 6,000mAh battery found on the Realme 14 Pro+ 5G.
