The realme 16T 5G is now available for purchase in India through Flipkart, realme.com, and offline retail stores. The phone went on sale today at 12 PM, and launch offers currently bring the starting price down to Rs 26,999.
The smartphone comes in three variants:
- 6GB + 128GB: Rs 29,999
- 8GB + 128GB: Rs 31,999
- 8GB + 256GB: Rs 34,999
As part of the introductory offers, buyers can get up to Rs 3,000 off through credit card EMI offers or up to Rs 2,000 bank and UPI discounts. Existing realme users are also eligible for an additional Rs 1,000 benefit during the sale period till June 2.
realme 16T 5G Specifications
The realme 16T 5G features a 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 1200 nits brightness in high brightness mode.
Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Storage can also be expanded up to 2TB through a microSD card.
The phone runs Android 16 with realme UI 7.0 out of the box.
On the camera side, the device includes a 50MP Sony IMX852 primary camera along with a 2MP monochrome sensor. For selfies, there’s a 16MP front camera using the Sony IMX480 sensor.
realme has also included features like a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo-style ultra-linear speaker setup with 400% volume boost, and IP68 + IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. The phone also carries MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability certification.
Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and USB Type-C.
The biggest highlight remains the 8000mAh battery, paired with 45W fast charging support.
