Realme C100i Ultra Affordable 4G Phone Launched In India: Check Price, Specifications, Features, and Availability

Realme has launched the new C100i smartphone in the Indian market. This new 4G smartphone focuses heavily on structural durability and battery performance. It arrives as a swift follow-up to the recently released C100x.

The device stands out with its heavy-duty build, featuring ArmorShell Protection and IP64 dust and water resistance. Realme claims the phone has passed rigorous military-grade MIL-STD-810H durability tests. It can survive drops from up to two metres, ensuring reliability in tough environments.

Realme C100i Specificiations & Features

The handset sports a large 6.8-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with Panda glass protection. It supports a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 900 nits. Under the hood, it features a 1.8 GHz octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor.

The phone comes with 4G of LPDDR4X RAM. Users can expand the memory up to 12gb using virtual RAM extension. For storage, it includes 64GB of fast UFS 2.2 storage. This is expandable up to 2TB with a dedicated microSD card.

Surprisingly, the budget device runs the latest Android 16-based Realme UI 6.0 software out of the box. However, the camera hardware remains extremely modest. It houses an 8MP single rear camera and a 5MP front camera for basic video calls.

Powering the phone is a massive 6500mAh battery. It supports 15W charging via a USB Type-C port and includes reverse wired charging support. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an ultra-linear bottom speaker.

The Realme C100i is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the single 4GB + 64GB variant. It is available in Skyline Silver and Midnight Black colours. Buyers can purchase the phone from the brand’s official website and selected offline stores.

At this pricing, the device enters a highly competitive Indian market. The impressive ruggedness and massive battery life are strong selling points. However, the basic specifications might make it a tough sell against feature-rich competitors.
