Realme Launches 16T 5G, Buds Air8 Pro, and Watch S5 in India: Check Prices, Specs, Sale Details

Realme has expanded its hardware lineup in India with the introduction of three new devices: the Realme 16T 5G smartphone, the Buds Air8 Pro wireless earbuds, and the Watch S5 smartwatch. The new releases focus primarily on extended battery life across the portfolio.

Price and Pre-Book Benefits

Pre-booking for the Realme 16T 5G opens today, May 22, 2026, and runs through May 26, 2026. If you secure your phone during this pre-book window, Realme is throwing in an extra unspecified gift with the order. The official retail first sale then takes over at noon on May 27, 2026, running through June 2, 2026, via Flipkart, Realme’s website, and physical retail stores.

The retail pricing structure relies on several layered offers:

• 6GB + 128GB Variant: Standard retail is ₹29,999, but instant bank cards or UPI discounts knock it down to an effective launch price of ₹26,999.
• 8GB + 128GB Variant: Retails at ₹31,999, with a launch offer dropping the actual price to ₹28,899.
• 8GB + 256GB Variant: Standard pricing is ₹34,999, which drops to ₹31,999 during the initial sale window.

To get those lower prices on Flipkart and the official site, you need to use a credit card EMI transaction for up to ₹3,000 off, or a direct bank/UPI promotion worth ₹2,000. If you are a returning customer switching from an older Realme device, you can claim an additional ₹1,000 loyalty benefit on top. Offline buyers at physical mainline stores can access a parallel ₹5,000 finance option through partner platforms.

Realme 16T Specs

The primary technical feature of the Realme 16T 5G is its 8,000mAh battery capacity. Realme states this provides up to three days of runtime under typical usage conditions. To sustain long-term battery performance, the device incorporates a software-driven battery protection system intended to maintain health over a seven-year period.

The phone supports 45W wired charging, 15W reverse wired charging for secondary accessories, and bypass charging to route power directly to the motherboard during gaming. For durability, the chassis carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water protection.

The rear camera layout includes a 50MP Sony IMX852 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Notably, the rear module features a physical selfie mirror. This layout allows you to use the higher-resolution primary sensor to frame and shoot front-facing images. The phone comes with Realme UI 7.0 on top of Android 16.

Realme Buds Air8 Pro

Alongside the smartphone, the Realme Buds Air8 Pro wireless earbuds are scheduled for release on June 3, 2026, at an introductory price of ₹6,699. The internal hardware consists of an 11mm + 6mm dual-driver configuration supporting the LHDC 5.0 high-resolution audio codec via Bluetooth 6.1.

The earbuds feature active noise cancellation rated at 55dB, alongside a six-microphone array with voice processing units designed to isolate vocals during calls. Total combined playback time with the charging case is rated at up to 50 hours.

Realme Watch S5

The final addition is the Realme Watch S5 smartwatch, launching on June 5, 2026, for ₹7,499. It features a circular 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a rated peak brightness of 1,500 nits. The wearable includes independent GPS hardware with support for five global satellite systems, an IP rating certified for 5ATM water resistance, and a maximum battery life of up to 20 days.
