Realme has launched the P4R 5G in India, adding a new option to the budget 5G smartphone segment. The device’s biggest highlight is its 8,000mAh battery, paired with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a 144Hz display, and a 50MP rear camera.
The smartphone will go on sale from June 17 through Flipkart and Realme’s online store. While the base variant carries a retail price of Rs 18,999, launch offers bring the effective starting price down to Rs 16,999 for a limited period.
Battery Life Takes Priority
The Realme P4R 5G is built around an 8,000mAh battery, which is larger than what is typically found in this price range. The company claims up to three days of usage on a full charge, although actual battery life will vary depending on how the phone is used.
Charging is handled by 45W wired fast charging. The device also supports bypass charging, which directs power to the phone instead of the battery during gaming sessions. Reverse wired charging is available as well, allowing the phone to charge compatible accessories and other devices.
Display, Performance, and Durability
The phone features a 6.8-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits.
Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset. Realme has also included a 5300mm² vapor chamber cooling system, which is intended to help manage temperatures during extended gaming sessions.
The P4R 5G carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and comes with what Realme calls an ArmorShell tough build. The company also says the device has undergone MIL-STD-810H durability testing.
50MP Camera and AI Features
For photography, the smartphone includes a 50MP primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture.
On the software side, Realme has added several AI-powered tools, including AI Eraser 2.0, AI Ultra Clarity, AI Unblur, and AI Portrait Glow. Other features include Google Gemini integration, document scanning tools, AI-powered note assistance, and anti-theft features.
Price and Availability
The Realme P4R 5G will be available in Titanium Glare, Silver Glare, and Lavender Glare colour options.

- 4GB + 128GB: Rs 18,999 (Launch offer price: Rs 16,999)
- 6GB + 128GB: Rs 20,999 (Launch offer price: Rs 18,999)
- 6GB + 256GB: Rs 22,999 (Launch offer price: Rs 20,999)
The launch offer includes a Rs 2,000 bank discount and up to three months of no-cost EMI. The introductory pricing will be available during the first sale period.
