Redmi K100 is set to launch in China later this month as the latest addition to Xiaomi’s K-series smartphone lineup. The company has confirmed the launch date and revealed the phone’s design, colour option, and key display features ahead of its debut.
The upcoming smartphone is expected to focus on gaming performance, with a high-refresh-rate display, a Snapdragon chipset, and an active cooling fan.

Redmi K100 Launch Date and Design
Redmi has confirmed that the Redmi K100 will launch in China on October 27 at 7 PM local time (4:30 PM IST). It will join the recently launched Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max models in the lineup.
The company has showcased the smartphone with a flat rear panel, a metal mid-frame, and a horizontal camera module. The rear camera island houses two cameras and an LED flash, while the “Sound by Bose” branding suggests the phone will feature a Bose-tuned speaker setup.
The power button is positioned on the right side, while the Redmi branding appears towards the bottom of the rear panel. The handset is also expected to feature a USB Type-C port and a SIM tray along the bottom edge.
Redmi has revealed a Fluorescent Green colour option for the phone, which will be available through Xiaomi’s online store in China.
Redmi K100 Specifications and Features (Expected)
The Redmi K100 will feature a 6.83-inch flat display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It has a hole-punch cutout at the top for the front camera. According to Redmi, the smartphone will support native 165fps gaming in more than 40 games, making its display a key highlight for mobile gamers.
The phone will run Xiaomi’s HyperOS 4, based on Android 17, according to the company.
Under the hood, the Redmi K100 is tipped to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It could be paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The handset is also expected to feature an improved built-in active cooling fan to help manage temperatures during extended gaming sessions.
As for pricing, a recent report suggests that the Redmi K100 could start at around CNY 3,500 (approximately Rs. 50,000) in China. However, the company has yet to confirm the price, memory configurations, or availability details. The Redmi K100 is expected to rival the iQOO Neo 12, which will arrive a day after.
