Redmi Note 15 Series Launch in India Tipped to Take Place in December: Sale Will Commence in January 2026

The series, including the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Note 15 Pro, might be introduced in India by December. Additionally, there’s information about the launch schedule for the Redmi 15C in the country.

Redmi Note 15 Series Launch Timeline

According to Abhishek Yadav, a well-known tipster, the Redmi Note 15 series is set to launch in India in December. The first sale of these Xiaomi sub-brand handsets is expected to commence on January 9, 2026. This aligns with Yadav’s earlier prediction that suggested a January release for the Note 15 series in India.

The pricing of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ and Redmi Note 15 Pro is speculated to be similar to their predecessors. For reference, the base model of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage was priced at Rs. 29,999. Meanwhile, the same configuration for the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G was available at Rs. 23,999.

Redmi 15C India Launch Details

The tipster also hinted at the Indian launch timeline for the Redmi 15C. This handset was initially launched in China back in September. However, it remains unclear whether it will be the 4G or the 5G variant coming to India since both versions are available globally with slight specification differences.

The Redmi 15C’s specifications vary between its two models. The Redmi 15C 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, while its counterpart, the Redmi 15C 4G, features a MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset. Both variants boast an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and house large batteries of 6,000mAh capacity that support fast charging at up to 33W.

In terms of camera specifications, there are reports suggesting that Indian versions of these handsets may have slightly different cameras compared to their Chinese counterparts. This anticipated launch marks another significant step for Xiaomi’s sub-brand as it continues expanding its presence in India’s competitive smartphone market.
