The upcoming device already has a dedicated landing page on both Amazon India and Xiaomi India’s websites, which usually means the official reveal isn’t too far away.
The microsite itself is still pretty vague. There are no specs, no launch date, and not even a confirmed product name yet. But Redmi keeps repeating lines like “Fast isn’t a feature anymore. It’s the default.”
That messaging makes this feel less like a regular budget phone teaser and more like something performance-centric. Whether that means gaming, a faster chipset, or just a generally smoother experience is still unclear.

One small detail that caught attention is the appearance of the text “Redmi S” on the Amazon page.
Right now, Redmi hasn’t explained what it actually means. It could be the start of a new series, a branding element, or even the final product name itself.
