The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G has been the talk of the town for a while, which will succeed last year’s Galaxy A56. Now, the upcoming A-series smartphone has reportedly been spotted on the BIS certification website, hinting at an imminent India launch. Here’s what to expect:
Galaxy A57 India Launch Likely Soon
A Samsung phone has appeared on the BIS certification website bearing the model number SM-A576B/DS, where the “DS” suffix confirms dual SIM support. Although the listing does not disclose the moniker, Samsung’s model numbering convention strongly points to the Galaxy A57 5G.
Galaxy A57 5G: What to Expect
Earlier leaks suggest that the Galaxy A57 5G could feature a 50MP primary camera, paired with a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro sensor. For selfies, it may offer a 12MP front-facing camera.
Reports also indicate that the device may be powered by the Exynos 1680 chipset, an upgrade over the Exynos 1580 used in the Galaxy A56. Leaks further suggest that the Galaxy A57 will sport a glass back protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ along with an aluminium frame. The phone is also expected to carry an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance and feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the display front, the Galaxy A57 is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,900 nits of peak brightness. The device is also tipped to run Android 16 out of the box and pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
Moreover, the Galaxy A57 is reportedly arriving next time alongside the Galaxy A37, which will succeed last year’s Galaxy A36. If this turns out to be true, we expect the brand to soon confirm the same.
