The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to arrive early next year as the premium model in the Vivo X300 series. Fresh leaks from China suggest several key hardware upgrades, including a larger display, ambitious camera setup, and a sizeable battery aimed at power users.

Leaked information points to a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset powering the Vivo X300 Ultra, paired with a 7,000mAh battery. The phone is also tipped to use a third-generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, suggesting Vivo is focusing on security and fast authentication.

Vivo X300 Ultra Display and Design Details

According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Vivo X300 Ultra could feature a 6.82-inch flat LTPO display from BOE with 2K resolution. The screen is expected to have a narrow-edge layout and a right-angle metal mid-frame, giving it a sharp, boxy profile.

Earlier reports mentioned a slightly smaller 6.8-inch BOE panel, also with 2K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and high-frequency PWM dimming. Both leaks suggest Vivo is preparing a flagship-grade screen. The updated size claim of 6.82 inches appears to refine these previous rumours rather than contradict them.

Vivo X300 Ultra Camera Setup and Missing Button

The Vivo X300 Ultra is rumoured to include a triple rear camera unit with two 200-megapixel sensors and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The rear design is said to mirror the Vivo X200 Ultra, using a large circular camera island that dominates the back panel.

However, the new model may omit the dedicated camera button seen on the Vivo X200 Ultra. Vivo introduced this hardware key in 2024 with a blue strip, slider gestures, and a design similar to a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It was positioned for thumb use in landscape mode for photography controls.

The global Vivo X300 Ultra variant has reportedly appeared in the European Economic Community database, hinting at a launch in European markets as well as China and India.
