Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G in India, expanding its F-series lineup in the competitive mid-range segment. The smartphone combines a premium Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, a large 6,000mAh battery, and an IP64-rated design.

One of its biggest highlights is Samsung’s promise of six years of Android OS and security updates, making it one of the longest-supported smartphones in its class.

The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G is priced starting at Rs. 25,999 in India. As part of the launch offers, buyers can purchase the smartphone at an effective starting price of Rs. 23,999 during Flipkart’s upcoming Freedom Sale.

The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G also debuts with a refreshed design, featuring a flat rear panel with a leather-like textured finish in Aurora Green and Alpha Black colour options.

The handset will be available for purchase via Flipkart, with the sale beginning on August 8.

The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits peak brightness. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, offering improved resistance against scratches and accidental drops.

Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset built on a 4nm process, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

The device runs One UI based on Android 16 out of the box. Samsung has committed to providing six generations of Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates, offering long-term software support rarely seen in this price segment.

For photography, the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G features a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) to improve image quality and reduce blur in videos. The complete camera specifications are expected to be detailed during the sales period.
