    Summary

    • Solo Leveling Season 3 highly anticipated
    • No clear release window announced
    • Production rush could lead to disaster

Solo Leveling season 3 is highly anticipated, but against all odds, it could be a huge catastrophe that could kill one of the biggest series in the anime industry at the moment. Solo Leveling is riding a huge wave of popularity at this moment, but this might not last forever. The studio behind Solo Leveling has to decide whether to prioritize the quality or to give fans Season 3 quickly. As things stand, Solo Leveling Season 3 could end up suffering either way.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Broke All Records, But One Anime Still Surpassed It

Solo Leveling season 2 was insanely popular, but was still surpassed by this one series.

Solo Leveling Season 3 Is Highly Anticipated

No Release Window Is Clear Yet

Solo Leveling showed just how much of a huge success it was, with both its first and second seasons being received very well. It seems the series just keeps getting more popular with every new release, and the only thing fans can think about since the epic conclusion of the Solo Leveling Season 2 is when Solo Leveling Season 3 will be out.

Sadly for the fans, until now, there has been no official confirmation of when the next season can even be expected, let alone a more specific release date.

This is definitely worrying for the fans, especially since they have been receiving very mixed signals from producers and other staff working on the series.

The first and second seasons of Solo Leveling had one year in between them, so many fans hoped it would be the same case for the third season.

Solo Leveling Season 3 Could be A Huge Disaster

Production Could Be Rushed To Meet An Earlier Release Window

Solo Leveling fans are definitely hoping for an early 2026 release date, as that would mean the show drops exactly a year after Season 2. While, in theory, this would be great, in reality, this could cause Season 3 to be worse than before.

Solo Leveling isn’t the kind of anime where most fans get very invested in the story itself. Rather, it’s an anime where the battles are what make it shine.

This means the anime is very reliant on having amazing animation and direction. However, a rushed production to meet a 2026 deadline could jeopardize that.

One of the producers of the series has already talked about how long it takes to make even one episode of Solo Leveling, and it’s a significant time period. This same producer said the best year to drop the third season would be 2028 as well.

“I think more than anyone, I am anxiously awaiting a Season 3! But in truth, between Season 1 and Season 2, 220,000 frames of animation were created. So, if it were up to me, I’d say let’s wait until the next Olympics (2028) to see what’s going to happen with a Season 3. But I think that’s more up to Kaneko and A-1 Pictures.”

    — Atsushi Kaneko

Solo Leveling’s Sung Jinwoo Is The Best Main Character Of The Year, But 1 Character Deserves It Far More

Solo Leveling is the biggest anime of recent years, but many believe Jinwoo did not deserve the title of Best Main Character of the year.

A 2028 release would mean a three-year wait, and that could kill the hype of the whole series. It’s really up to the studio to decide if fans are willing to wait that long. Either way, whether the season comes out in early 2026 or 2028, it isn’t looking too good. Late 2026 or 2027 seems like the ideal middle point.

    Where To Watch Solo Leveling?

    Available on Crunchyroll

Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes, and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while awaiting any more news concerning the third season.

For fans who can’t wait for season 3 to come out, checking out the Manhwa might be a great option.
