Bengaluru, April 19, 2025:
Tata Elxsi, a BSE-listed technology company and Tata Group subsidiary, has signed a €50 million agreement with a major European automotive OEM to establish a global engineering center. This center will concentrate on programs involving software-defined vehicles, electrification, body and chassis development, and cloud-native solutions.
The global engineering center will also help the OEM advance its software platform roadmap and brand-specific software engineering initiatives, acting as a hub for the development of a unified technology stack.
In addition to these capabilities, Tata Elxsi will create a comprehensive proprietary operating system, electronic architecture, and automotive cloud infrastructure. These elements, when combined, will improve advanced in-vehicle functionalities, ensure seamless connectivity, and allow for software upgrades across multiple brands and product lines.
