    • The 2025 Audi Q6 Sportback E-Tron starts from $70,895 in the U.S.
    • Two versions are available, and they both come with dual-motor all-wheel drive.
    • The maximum range rating of the coupe-like electric crossover is 319 miles.

The 2025 Audi Q6 Sportback E-Tron has landed in the United States. Acting as the Q6 E-Tron’s slightly more stylish brother, thanks to its coupe-like body, the Q6 Sportback comes in two powertrain configurations.

There’s no single-motor version for the U.S.-spec Q6 Sportback E-Tron, so even if you go for the entry-level version, which starts at $70,895, you get dual-motor all-wheel drive and a 94.4-kilowatt-hour battery pack.

With a maximum output of 456 horsepower, this version can sprint from a standstill to 60 miles per hour in 4.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 130 mph. According to Audi, it can drive up to 319 miles on a full charge on the standard 19-inch wheels, which is a 12-mile improvement over a similarly equipped Q6 E-Tron SUV. That’s mostly due to the Sportback’s sleeker body, which has a roofline that sits 1.4 inches (37 millimeters) lower than on the regular SUV version.

You’ll have to pay extra for the added range and coupe-ish stance, because the Sportback is $3,800 more expensive than its more upright brother. Meanwhile, the price difference between the more powerful SQ6 Sportback E-Tron and the regular SQ6 E-Tron is $3,400. For the extra cash, you get a slightly fancier exterior design, but you lose some cargo space, with the Sportback’s trunk offering 26.1 cubic feet, 4.1 cu ft less than the SUV version.

The same 94.4-kWh battery of the base version powers the SQ6, but thanks to more powerful electric motors, which make a combined 509 hp, the sporty electric crossover can sprint to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. On the other hand, the range takes a bit of a hit, with an EPA rating of 283 miles. The coupe-like SQ6 Sportback E-Tron starts from $77,595 including destination, but it’s easy to go over $80,000 in Audi’s configurator if you’re the kind of person who likes to stand out from the crowd.

That said, the standard Premium trim comes with rather generous 20-inch wheels, a Sport adaptive air suspension system and massaging front seats. Upgrading to the Premium Plus trim adds adaptive cruise control, an augmented reality head-up display, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, a heated steering wheel and a top view camera system.

The top Prestige trim adds acoustic glass for the front doors, a bigger digital instrument cluster screen and digital OLED taillights.

The 2025 Audi Q6 Sportback E-Tron can accept up to 270 kilowatts of power from an 800-volt DC fast charger, which means a 10% to 80% top-up will take around 21 minutes. That’s courtesy of Volkswagen Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, the same that underpins the rather impressive Porsche Macan.

The Audi Q6 and SQ6 Sportback E-Tron will go on sale in the U.S. before the end of the month.
