- Ford has slashed up to $4,000 off the price of the 2026 F-150 Lightning electric pickup.
- The Flash and the Lariat are now cheaper than before.
- The pricing of the top Premium trim, as well as the newly introduced STX version, remains unchanged.
Ford has reduced the price of some 2026 F-150 Lightning trims by up to $4,000, as reported by CarsDirect and later confirmed by the American automaker.
The 2026 Ford F-150 Lightning Flash now starts from $65,995, excluding the destination and acquisition fees, resulting in a $4,000 cut compared to the 2025 model. The Flash trim comes standard with a 123-kilowatt-hour battery that enables an EPA-estimated driving range of 300 miles. It also gets dual-motor all-wheel drive, eight 120-volt outlets and a 15.5-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Lariat version, meanwhile, gets a $2,000 price drop for 2026, going from $76,995 to $74,995, excluding the $2,595 delivery fee and the $695 acquisition fee. Compared to the Flash, the Lariat gets a larger 131 kWh battery that ups the range figure to 320 miles. It also gets niceties such as a power tailgate and power folding side mirrors.
Despite the price cuts, Ford said it will not remove features from the Flash and Lariat trims. The entry-level F-150 Lightning STX, which replaces the outgoing XLT, is priced the same as before, starting from $63,345 excluding destination. The same goes for the range-topping Premium trim, which starts from $84,995.
On top of everything, Ford is offering up to $7,500 off select 2025 F-150 Lightning models from inventory. According to the automaker’s website, customers could save up to $7,500 if they take delivery by January 5, 2026. The incentive, which is comprised of two different discounts, is meant to replace the canceled $7,500 federal tax credit for new EVs, which went away on September 30.
Last week, Ford canceled its ingenious plan to extend the federal tax credit until the end of the year. The company was set to buy its own cars from dealers’ inventories, claim the tax credit and include the discount as part of new leases.
