    • The American-made Hyundai Ioniq 9 goes on sale.
    • It starts at $60,555 including shipping.
    • All versions deliver over 300 miles of range.

The 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 is officially on sale in the United States. The three-row electric SUV, which shares its underpinnings with the Kia EV9, has a starting price of $60,555, including the $1,600 destination fee. Meanwhile, the most expensive trim costs $78,090.

Built at Hyundai Motor Group’s shiny new factory in Georgia, the Ioniq 9 is available in six trim levels, and all of them have over 300 miles of range and are eligible for the full $7,500 federal tax credit when leasing or buying with cash. All versions come with the same 110.3-kilowatt-hour battery pack that can be charged from 10% to 80% in 24 minutes from a 350 kW fast charger. Moreover, all versions come as standard with a heat pump.

The base version, called the Ioniq 9 RWD S, has the longest driving range at 335 miles. It’s powered by a single rear electric motor making 215 horsepower. It can tow 3,500 pounds and goes from zero to 60 miles per hour in 8.4 seconds.

Next up is the Ioniq 9 AWD SE that costs $64,365. It gets an additional front electric motor to deliver all-wheel drive and a total output of 303 hp. The tow rating gets bumped to 5,000 lbs, while the zero to 60 time goes down to 6.2 seconds. That said, the 320-mile range rating is also lower than the base version.

At $67,920, the Ioniq 9 AWD SEL keeps the powertrain and range rating of the SE model, but adds 20-inch wheels (up from the 19-inchers of the S and SE), power folding side mirrors, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, ventilated front seats, a blind spot monitoring system, and ambient interior lighting.

If more oomph is what you’re looking for, Hyundai has you covered with three Performance-branded trim levels that up the power figure to 422 hp thanks to a more potent front motor. The zero to 60 sprint is handled in 4.9 seconds, but the range figure goes down to 311 miles.

The Ioniq 9 AWD Performance Limited has an MSRP of $72,850 and comes with 21-inch wheels, a panoramic sunroof, second-row captain’s chairs with power adjustment and ventilation, a driver’s seat with memory function, power-folding third-row seats, a power-adjustable steering wheel, a fingerprint scanner, and a 14-speaker Bose audio System.

The Ioniq 9 AWD Performance Calligraphy ups the asking price to $76,590. It adds redesigned front and rear fascias, a two-tone leather-wrapped steering wheel, microfiber suede on the headliner and pillars, metal pedals, a head-up display, Remote Parking Assist 2, and a parking collision-avoidance system for all three directions (forward, reverse and side assist).

The top-of-the-line Ioniq 9 AWD Performance Calligraphy Design goes for $78,090 and tops the standard equipment list with 21-inch Turbine wheels and two matte paint options–Gravity Gold with a gray two-tone interior or Sage Silver Matte with a dark teal two-tone interior.

All 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 versions come from the factory with a Tesla-designed NACS charging port, enabling access to over 15,000 Tesla Supercharger stalls in North America. That said, the Ioniq 9 comes with a CCS to NACS adapter as standard, so owners can also use CCS fast chargers such as those deployed by Electrify America, Ionna, EVgo and others.

Hyundai will also throw in a complimentary ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 EV charger or $400 in charging credits on the ChargePoint network.

The 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 will arrive at dealerships across the country in the first part of this month.
