OnePlus has announced the gradual release of OxygenOS 16, starting with its latest flagship models. The update will eventually reach older devices. Notably, the OnePlus 11 series and select Nord models are set to receive the update in December. Interestingly, some Nord models have now started receiving the update earlier than planned.
Rollout Schedule for India
For India, the confirmed schedule for the OxygenOS 16 update is as follows: On November 1, the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13s will receive the update. Following closely, the OnePlus 13R, OnePlus 12, OnePlus Pad 3, and OnePlus Pad 2 will be updated on November 5. The OnePlus Open foldable is set to receive the update on November 7, with the OnePlus 12R expected later in November. The OnePlus 11 series and other Nord models were planned for December.

Interestingly, the OnePlus Nord 5, Nord 4, and Nord CE 5 have reportedly started receiving the stable OxygenOS 16 update. This rollout is ahead of the initially planned December schedule. The update is accessible in certain regions, including India.
The update rollout is being executed in phases to ensure a smooth transition across devices. The focus is on newer models first, with a gradual rollout to older models. This phased approach aims to provide a seamless experience for users.
The OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus 11R 5G, and OnePlus Nord 3 5G are among the devices slated for future updates. The OnePlus Nord models, especially Nord 5, Nord 4, and Nord CE 5, are already seeing updates in advance. This early release demonstrates OnePlus’s commitment to keeping its devices up-to-date with the latest software enhancements.
This rollout signifies OnePlus’s ongoing efforts to enhance user experience by updating its software across a wide range of devices. Users can anticipate improved performance and new features as their devices receive the OxygenOS 16 update. By ensuring a timely rollout, OnePlus is maintaining its reputation for delivering quality updates to its users.
