TRICHY: 22nd May 2025 TVS Motor Company, a prominent manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with I OOR Cabs Pvt. Ltd, a technology-oriented urban mobility platform, to supply 500 units of the TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheeler during the financial year 2025-26.
This partnership aims to enhance the adoption of sustainable urban transportation. The TVS King EV MAX, priced at approximately Rs 3 lakhs, is recognised for its exceptional range of 179 kilometres, rapid charging capabilities, and the smart connectivity feature TVS SmartXonnect™, tailored to align with OOR Cabs’ premium service offerings.
Notably, the TVS King EV MAX is distinguished by its extended range, swift charging, and intelligent connectivity, making it an ideal choice for fleet operators and individual users.
Each vehicle in the fleet will be equipped with onboard drinking water, roof insulation for enhanced cabin comfort, and mobile charging points, thereby improving the convenience and comfort of daily commutes.
Beyond environmental goals, this collaboration fosters inclusive growth by creating economic opportunities. OOR Cabs aims to deploy 20 to 30 electric vehicles monthly, generating employment for both male and female driver partners and establishing sustainable income sources in urban underserved areas.
At the launch event in Trichy, the first ten units were ceremonially delivered to OOR Cabs, with an additional ten vehicles scheduled for delivery in June 2025 as part of this significant electric vehicle rollout
