The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is set to make its debut in India and globally later this month. While no official launch date has been announced just yet, the South Korean tech giant will reportedly begin pre-reservation for the Galaxy S26 series this week.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series will include the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra. While there are no concrete details on the specifications of the S26 series, Samsung has confirmed they will offer better zoom shots. Additionally, the S26 phones will also offer improved videography capabilities and better low light photography.

According to tipster Sanju Choudary, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be available for pre-reservation in India starting February 11, 2026. The tipster recently shared a post on X with an image of the Galaxy S26 Ultra as well as the pre-reservation dates and offers. However, the post has since been taken down.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Series launch date in India and globally is expected to take place on February 25, 2026. Moreover, previous reports suggest the pre-order period for the S26 series will take place between February 26 to March 04, 2026, while the pre-sale period will continue until March 10.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Specifications (Expected)

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to be the most powerful model in the Galaxy S26 lineup. Leaks suggest it will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset across all markets, including India, the US, and China-unlike the standard models, which may split between Snapdragon and Exynos depending on region.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra could offer up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, running Android 16 with One UI 8.5. The software is expected to emphasise smooth multitasking and AI-driven features. Build quality may include a titanium frame, Gorilla Glass Victus 3 on both sides, and an IP68 rating.

Display leaks point to a 6.9-inch flat LTPO M14 AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. Powering the device could be a 5,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 45W wired charging, 15W Qi2 wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.

Camera hardware is expected to include a 200MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide camera, 50MP 5x periscope telephoto lens, and a 12MP 3x telephoto camera, along with a 12MP front camera. Improvements in low-light photography and 8K video recording at 60fps are also rumoured.

The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus may use either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600, with India likely getting Exynos variants. Both are tipped to feature 12GB RAM, Android 16 with One UI 8.5, LTPO AMOLED displays (6.3-inch and 6.7-inch), IP68 ratings, and similar triple-camera setups.
