The Vivo S2 is set to make its debut in India later today, marking the return of the company’s S series in India after a six year long hiatus. Ahead of the launch, Vivo has already teased several aspects of the upcoming S2 handset.

The vivo S2 combines an ultra-slim 7.99 mm design with a massive 7050mAh battery, aiming to deliver premium styling without compromising endurance. It also packs a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, 50MP Sony main camera, 32MP selfie camera with 4K recording, and AI-powered OriginOS 6 features for a well-rounded mid-range experience.

Vivo S2 Launch and Price in India: What to Expect

The Vivo S2 is launching in India at 12 pm (IST) today. Following its launch, the S2 will go on sale in India through Amazon, Vivo’s official channels, and third-party partner retailers.

It will debut in three distinctive colour finishes including Silk White, Sapphire Blue, and Regal Bronze. While the jury is still out on pricing, we expect the Vivo S2 price in India to start from under Rs 40,000.

Under the hood, a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor drives the smartphone. The chip achieves an impressive AnTuTu benchmark score of 970,000. For mobile photography, the vivo S2 integrates a 50 MP main camera with a Sony IMX852 sensor. This high-detail primary lens is paired with a sharp 32 MP front camera. Both cameras support 4K video recording, which simplifies high-quality content creation. Standard creative features like Aura Light Portrait and Dual View Video are also included.

One of the most remarkable design achievements is the massive 7050 mAh battery. Fitting this capacity into an ultra-slim frame ensures longevity without creating a bulky device.
