Vivo is preparing to expand its T-series lineup in India with the upcoming launch of the Vivo T5 5G. The company has started teasing the smartphone’s key features, although the exact launch date is yet to be announced.
The Vivo T5 5G will join the existing lineup comprising the Vivo T5 Lite 5G, Vivo T5x 5G, and Vivo T5 Pro 5G. A dedicated landing page for the upcoming smartphone is now live on Flipkart, confirming that it will be sold through the e-commerce platform in India.
Vivo T5 5G Features Teased
The Vivo T5 5G will run on OriginOS, with OriginOS 6 being the latest software version from the company. Vivo is also highlighting the phone’s artificial intelligence capabilities. It is teased to feature a GenAI-ready NPU that promises faster AI performance.
The display is another major highlight. Vivo claims that the T5 5G will feature the segment’s slimmest 3D curved display in the Rs. 34,999 to Rs. 49,999 price segment. This suggests that the smartphone could be priced below Rs. 50,000 in India.
The handset is also teased with an ultra-slim 7.99mm frame. Vivo has not yet revealed other display specifications, including the screen size, resolution, refresh rate or peak brightness.
Vivo T5 5G Expected Specifications
The company is yet to disclose details about the processor, cameras, battery, charging, RAM and storage. However, the early teasers indicate that Vivo is positioning the T5 5G around a slim design, curved display and AI capabilities.

Vivo T5 Pro 5G Gets Price Hike
The Vivo T5 5G announcement comes soon after Vivo increased the price of the T5 Pro 5G in India by up to Rs. 7,000.
The 8GB + 128GB variant now costs Rs. 41,999, up from its launch price of Rs. 29,999. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 46,999, while the top-end 12GB + 256GB variant now costs Rs. 69,999.
With the standard Vivo T5 5G on the way, Vivo could soon have an even broader T-series portfolio in India.
