Vivo has confirmed the launch date of the T5 Lite 5G in India. The Vivo T5 Lite 5G will debut as the second phone in the T5 series, following the debut of the Vivo T5x 5G earlier this year. Vivo has also teased key details about the handset ahead of its launch.

The Vivo T5 Lite 5G launch date in India is set for July 16 at 12 pm (IST). Following its launch, the Vivo T5 Lite will go on sale in India through Flipkart and Vivo’s website. Vivo’s official teaser reveals the handset is light blue and black shades.

We expect the Vivo T5 Lite 5G price in India to start from under Rs 20,000. The Vivo T5 Lite 5G will likely be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Lite, which is arriving in India a week later on July 24.

Vivo T5 Lite 5G Specifications: What We Know So Far

Ahead of its launch, Vivo has confirmed several key specifications of the T5 Lite 5G. The smartphone will pack a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging, a significant upgrade over the Vivo T4 Lite 5G, which offered a 6,000mAh battery and 15W charging. On the front, the handset is teased to feature a 120Hz display with up to 1,200 nits peak brightness, promising smoother visuals and improved outdoor visibility.

Powering the device will be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with Origin OS 6 based on Android. Vivo has also confirmed several AI-powered features, including AI Creation, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, AI Documents, and Private Space for enhanced productivity and privacy.

In terms of durability, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G is expected to offer military-grade certification along with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, making it more rugged than its predecessor. Vivo and Flipkart have also revealed that additional hardware details will be announced on July 11, ahead of the smartphone’s official debut on July 16.
