Vivo has officially unveiled its third V70 series smartphone in India. The Vivo V70 FE sits just under the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite in India’s sub-40K segment. With its 200MP camera, large battery, 90W charging and 6-year security promise, the Vivo V70 FE positions itself as a feature-rich option in the V70 line for Indian buyers.

The Northern Lights Purple version uses a layered photoluminescent material on the rear panel. It absorbs UV or sunlight and produces a gentle glow in low light. Vivo says the construction aims for consistent lighting and added depth. Monsoon Blue skips the glowing effect but keeps the same overall dimensions and weight profile.

The Vivo V70 FE price in India starts from Rs 37,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. Moreover, the Vivo V70 FE also comes in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations that cost Rs 40,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively.

The Vivo V70 FE will be available for purchase in India through Amazon, Flipkart, vivo India’s e-Store, and offline stores starting April 9. Customers can get an instant 10% discount using HDFC, Kotak, and Axis bank cards. Offline buyers can also expect cashbacks of 10% on cards using select banks.

The V70 FE features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 1.5K resolution. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+, with peak brightness reaching up to 1900 nits. Diamond Shield Glass protection is included. Despite a 7000mAh battery, the phone measures 7.59mm or 7.69mm thick, depending on colour.

Powering the Vivo V70 FE is the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chip built on a 4nm process. The octa-core processor clocks up to 2.5GHz and works with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. Buyers can choose 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, paired with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 layered on top. Vivo confirms security patches for 6 years, which extends the device’s support window. An in-display optical fingerprint sensor handles biometric authentication. The device also includes stereo speakers and uses the USB Type-C port for audio output.

The large 7000mAh typical battery supports 90W fast charging through the USB Type-C 2.0 port, aiming to reduce charging time while maintaining endurance.
