Vivo V70 Series Pricing and Availability in India Revealed Ahead of Launch: Pre-orders Expected to Start Today

Vivo is gearing up to introduce two new smartphones to its V series next month. The Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite are set to debut in and around India’s sub-50K segment, with an emphasis on photography, design, and endurance.

Vivo has already confirmed most of the specifications of its upcoming V70 series, while pricing of the two phones was recently leaked online. However, new information has emerged about the availability of the Vivo V70 series.

Vivo V70 Series Launch & Sale Dates in India

The Vivo V70 series launch date in India is set for February 19 at 12 pm (IST). Tipster Abhishek Yadav recently revealed that the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite will be up for pre-order from today, February 12 at 12 pm, to February 19.

Moreover, the Vivo V70 series will go on open sale in India for the first time from February 25 to 28, 2026. The post also mentions a “Superweek” between February 25 to March 3, which could hint at a possible timeline for launch offers or exclusive discounts.

Vivo V70 Series Price in India

According to past reporting, the Vivo V70 price in India will start from Rs 45,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model. Moreover, it will also come in a 12GB/256GB configuration that will set you back Rs 49,999. The Vivo V70 will come in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow shades.

The Vivo V70 Elite price in India is expected to start from Rs 51,999 for the base 8GB/256GB variant. Additionally, the handset will come in two more configurations: 12GB/256GB (Rs 56,999) and 12GB/512GB (Rs 61,999). The Vivo V70 Elite will be offered in Passion Red, Authentic Black, and Sand Beige colour options.

Vivo V70 Series Confirmed Specifications

The Vivo V70 Elite has officially been confirmed to run on the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster multitasking and quicker data access. Meanwhile, the standard Vivo V70 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, positioning it strongly in the premium mid-range segment.

Both smartphones in the V70 series are designed with performance and user experience in mind. They feature an X-axis linear motor for immersive 4D vibration feedback, enhancing gaming and everyday interactions. Powering the devices is a massive 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 90W wired fast charging. The series also includes bypass charging technology, which helps prevent overheating during gaming sessions while plugged in.

On the display front, the Vivo V70 series sports a 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals and sharp clarity. The screen offers a pixel density of 459 PPI and reaches an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight.

For photography, the lineup features a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom. On the front, users get a 50MP selfie camera for high-resolution self-portraits and video calls.

The Vivo V70 series runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. Vivo is committing to four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. Additionally, both devices carry IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring strong resistance against dust and water exposure.
