Design & Build
In terms of design, all three phones feature an unapologetically boxy form factor with rounded edges, although the Pixel 10 has slightly thicker bezels. Each one of these phones features a unique camera layout and comes in a host of eye-catching finishes.
The Vivo X300 has a textured matte glass back panel, similar to the matte glass back on the OPPO Find X9 and Pixel 10 (Review). We were unable to verify the exact glass used on the Vivo X300 and Find X9, although the Pixel 10 uses the tough Gorilla Glass Victus 2, giving it an edge in durability.
The Vivo X300 uses unspecified glass protection on the front, while the Pixel 10 uses the strongest Gorilla Glass Vitucs 2 to guard the screen. Finally, the Find X9’s Gorilla Glass 7i protection up front isn’t quite tough. All three phones feature a compact form factor and offer top-notch protection against dust and water.
In summary, the Pixel 10 stands out for its superior durability and minimalist appearance, whereas the Vivo X300 and OPPO Find X9 offer a more edgy and sleek aesthetic.
Software
ColorOS 16 delivers a polished experience with smooth animations, refined transitions and a clean, systematic UI, ideal if you want a stable, visually minimalist skin. OriginOS 6, though built on Android 16, pushes stronger on flair: vivid, dynamic visuals, extensive customization, lively icons and deeper AI-integrated tools, making the phone feel flashy and expressive.
Stock Android 16 on Pixel offers the pure “vanilla” Android experience – minimal UI bloat, prompt updates, and the “Material 3 Expressive” theme that prioritizes simplicity, speed, and direct Google integration.
Key Takeaways:
- ColorOS 16: Balanced, polished, smooth transitions, good for users wanting customization without clutter.
- OriginOS 6: Highly customizable, vibrant UI and strong AI-enhanced features, appealing if you like flair and visual richness.
- Stock Android 16: Cleanest, most streamlined experience with quickest updates and pure Android feel, best for minimalists or those who want guaranteed updates.
Display
The Vivo X300 and OPPO Find X9 feature a 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, although the Pixel 10 is downgraded to a Full HD+ (120Hz) OLED screen. However, the difference in overall sharpness is minuscule. The X300 and Find X9 also offer HDR10+ and HDR Vivid support, while the latter’s display also supports Dolby Vision.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 10’s screen is limited to HDR10+ support. Additionally, both the Vivo X300 and OPPO Find X9’s displays can achieve a higher peak brightness than the Pixel 10, although the Pixel 10 is consistently brighter and has one of the best displays of any smartphone, according to DxOMark.
Performance
While display quality is debatable, there’s no debate on the performance front as the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip on the X300 and Find X9 smoke the Pixel 10’s Tensor G5 SoC. While the Tensor chip is better equipped at handling AI tasks, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset offers better CPU and GPU performance, while also offering improved efficiency. Moreover, the X300 and Find X9 also boast faster RAM and storage than the Pixel 10.
Battery
When it comes to battery life, the OPPO Find X9 clearly takes the lead with its massive 7,025 mAh battery – roughly 15 percent larger than the cell inside the Vivo X300. The Pixel 10, on the other hand, offers close to a 5,000 mAh battery, which is respectable for its compact size but still lags behind its rivals.
Its power efficiency also takes a hit due to the absence of an LTPO display, resulting in higher screen power consumption, and the Tensor G5 chipset isn’t as frugal as competing processors. Charging speeds are another area where the Pixel 10 falls short, with notably slower wired and wireless charging, plus the added inconvenience of not including a power adapter in the box.
Cameras
For optics, the Google Pixel 10 has a triple-rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and OIS, a 13MP ultrawide lens with a 120˚ FOV, and a 10.8MP telephoto shooter with OIS and 5x optical zoom. Up front, the Pixel 10 opts for a 10.5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture and PDAF.
The OPPO Find X9 features three rear cameras, including a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor (1/1.4″) with OIS and an f/1.6 aperture, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture and a 50MP Sony LYT600 periscope-telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The Find X9 also has a 2MP multi-spectral lens on the back and a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture up front.
Finally, the Vivo X300 features an impressive 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPB primary sensor (1/1.4″) with an f/1.68 aperture and OIS. The main camera is accompanied by a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide lens with an f/2.0 aperture and a 50MP Sony IMX 602 with an f/2.57 aperture and OIS. Up front, the phone features a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 selfie camera with autofocus.
- Google Pixel 10: Strong reliance on Google’s computational photography paired with a capable 48MP main and a 5x optical telephoto ensures consistent real-world shooting performance. However, software does have its limitations and that is where the Pixel 10 struggles.
- OPPO Find X9: Its triple-50MP setup with a periscope lens provides versatile focal lengths and strong optical hardware for detailed zoom and wide-angle shots. It also supports Dolby Vision video recording.
- Vivo X300: In terms of camera hardware, the Vivo X300 leads the pack, capable of delivering some of the best shots we’ve taken from a non-Pro smartphone. Moreover, Vivo’s collaboration with ZEISS also enables excellent portrait photography and colour tuning.
While all three phones excel in photography, we’d recommend the Vivo X300 for photography and the OPPO Find X9 for videography. The Pixel 10 isn’t far behind, but Google does have some catching up to do.
Vivo X300 vs OPPO Find X9 vs Pixel 10: Conclusion
The Vivo X300, OPPO Find X9, and Google Pixel 10 all bring flagship-worthy features to the table, but their strengths differ based on what you value most. If you’re a performance enthusiast or love capturing high-detail photos, the Vivo X300 offers the most advanced hardware and delivers excellent imaging results for its price. The OPPO Find X9 stands out as a well-rounded contender with strong videography capabilities, versatile cameras, a bright premium display, and class-leading battery life.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 prioritizes software refinement, fast updates, and smart AI-driven convenience, making it ideal for users who want a clean and fluid Android experience. Ultimately, each device wins in its own category, but the Vivo X300 emerges as the most overall feature-packed option in this trio.
