Early details on the Vivo X500 are starting to surface, and if the specs hold up, it’s shaping up to be a serious contender in the flagship space.
The leak comes from tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata), who’s shared a handful of key specs. Nothing’s confirmed by Vivo yet, so treat this as a strong early picture rather than a done deal.

Display
The X500 is said to feature a 6.59-inch flat LTPO OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. Flat displays have been making a comeback at the flagship tier, so this tracks with where the market’s been moving. LTPO means variable refresh rate support, which typically helps with battery efficiency.
Chipset
Under the hood, it’s reportedly running a 3nm chip from the Dimensity 9000 series. The exact variant isn’t specified in the leak, but the 9000 family has been competitive with Qualcomm’s top-end silicon, so this would keep the X500 well within flagship territory.
Battery
This is the number that stands out. A ~7500mAh capacity would put the X500 among the highest-capacity flagships out there right now. Whether that pairs with fast wired and wireless charging at a flagship rate, we don’t know yet, but the raw size alone makes it worth watching.
Camera System
The main shooter is a 50MP sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size, which the leakster describes as upgraded. The bigger talking point is the periscope telephoto: 64MP, 1/2-inch sensor, and Roy notes it’s likely a Sony IMX06H. Periscope telephoto lenses allow for optical zoom without the physical depth penalty of a standard zoom module, so having a dedicated 64MP unit here is a meaningful spec on paper.
No details yet on the ultra-wide or front camera.
What We Still Don’t Know
Pricing, launch date, and regional availability haven’t leaked. Same goes for charging speeds, software version, and whether there are more variants in the works.
Vivo X500 Ultra Leaked
The X500 Ultra is also in the works. The same tipster has shared that it’ll feature three 200MP rear cameras, a 2K flat LTPO OLED display, and the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip. The main camera is said to use a 1/1.12-inch sensor with LOFIC technology. For the full breakdown, read our detailed report on the Vivo X500 Ultra here.
