What is Pride Rock in Dreamlight Valley?
When you hear ‘Pride Rock,’ you might picture a big rock formation, but that’s not exactly the case here. Disney Dreamlight Valley brings a lot of familiar Disney locations into the game, and Pride Rock is one of them. If you’ve seen The Lion King, you’ll recognize it as Simba’s home. Since Simba is now part of the game, he and his family live in Pride Rock.
How to Unlock Pride Rock in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To unlock Pride Rock in Dreamlight Valley, you need to complete the Eyes in the Dark quest, which begins when you unlock and enter The Lion King realm. Inside, players will meet Nala, who tells them that hyenas have been following her. Saviors will have to help her get rid of them, reunite her with Simba, and make a Bug Platter for her since she’s hungry.
When a character moves to the valley, you have to build their house first, and it’s the same with Nala. Along with her, you’ll also unlock Pride Rock. Once it’s unlocked, you’ll need to place it. Open Furniture Mode, go to the Requests section, find Nala, and place her house anywhere in the valley. This means that there’s no fixed location for Pride Rock. It will be wherever you put it.
But just like other houses, unlocking Pride Rock isn’t free. Dreamlight Valley fans will need to spend 15,000 Star Coins in order to build it. To do that, interact with Scrooge McDuck’s sign next to Pride Rock. Once it is built, talk to Nala again to finish the quest and bring her to the valley.
There are a couple of quests that require players to go to Pride Rock. First, you’ll need to visit it during The Heart of a Lioness. During this quest, you’ll find a memory in Pride Rock while investigating the Lion’s Paw Tablet. If you’ve unlocked Timon, you’ll unlock the Old Enemies quest after reaching level two where you have to decorate it with a fence and plants to help Timon settle in the valley.
