Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its next-gen T-series phones – the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro. With this, Xiaomi might finally bring the T-series back to India after nearly four years.

As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding this; reports suggest Xiaomi 17T could make its way to the country, as it has already been spotted in the IMEI database. In addition to Xiaomi’s T series, Redmi K series phones are reportedly arriving in India.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav says in its latest post that ”Xiaomi’s T series and Redmi K series will make a comeback in India.” The Indian variant of the Xiaomi 17T has appeared on the IMEI database with model number 2602DPT53I.

For the unaware, the Redmi K series phone comes to the global market with POCO branding. It remains to be seen if Redmi has the same plan or changes the plans. Redmi just launched the K90 series, so we expect the K90 series may arrive soon.

Xiaomi T-Series May Finally Arriving to India

According to the IMEI database, there are two versions of the Xiaomi 17T: one labelled for the global market and another with an Indian variant code. Given that, there is a chance the brand will now only bring the standard model. As far as launch is concerned, reports suggest that Xiaomi could unveil the 17T series in February 2026 – a major shift from the usual September timeline followed by its predecessor, the Xiaomi 15T series.
