Reddit user HenyaHu shared photos of an incredible gift they received from their mom for Christmas. The photos reveal a pair of completely custom Majora’s Mask shoes, designed by HenyaHu’s mother. make up the toes of the shoes, the heel features the Skull Kid dancing, while the menacing moon and Hylian Shield make up the sides. If all that weren’t enough, the OP’s mom topped off the gift with a replica of the actual Majora’s Mask.

Numerous players have shared their thoughts on the shoes, with comments ranging from being impressed at the design to telling the OP they have a great mom. Some jokes were also made regarding the shoes, with one telling the OP that they’d “met with a stylish drip,” referencing the Happy Mask Salesman‘s iconic “You’ve met with a terrible fate, haven’t you?” line, while one suggested that Majora might possess them for wearing the shoes. A couple also wanted to know if they could order their own versions from HenyaHu’s mom, to which they said they’d ask, but no concrete answer has been provided at time of publication.
While gamers are typically happy to receive gaming-related gifts for Christmas, something carefully crated and designed like this is especially heartwarming. Custom kicks like these have become a fairly popular way of celebrating iconic games and even other Nintendo properties.
