No More Room In Hell 2 doesn’t do a great job of explaining all the gameplay mechanics to the players, which is why a beginner’s guide will be essential for many. Due to the early access nature of the title, there aren’t any tutorials or documents in the game that explain how people should approach playing it.

If it was a simple game with obvious objectives, there wouldn’t be a need for any guidance. However, No More Room in Hell 2 features a ton of stuff you need to do before completing a match.

Excursions into the bleak world of No More Room in Hell 2 will take a while, but not if players can coordinate their efforts.

What Should Players Do In No More Room In Hell 2?

The core gameplay of No More Room in Hell 2 consists of multiple things a player must do before extraction. There’s a permadeath mechanic in the game, which means that you’ll lose your character if they die before extracting. As such, you will benefit from understanding all the mechanics of the game before deploying into a match.

    Group Up With Other Responders

    Other players in

aren’t hostile; they are allies. There’s also no friendly fire in the game.

When you finally queue into a match in No More Room in Hell 2, it doesn’t matter if you’re playing solo or with friends, you will have to meet up with other players in the game. It’s important to find other players and add them to your team to increase your chances of survival.

After finding a player, simply press the ‘E’ key on a keyboard or the ‘X’ button on a controller with an Xbox layout to group up with them. After they have been added to your team, you’ll be able to hear them in-game and see their real-time location at all times.

    Complete Objectives In Named Locations

No More Room In Hell - Map

The first objective is to go to one of the named locations marked on the map. There are 3 kinds of locations that you can head towards in No More Room In Hell 2.

    • Normal Named Location – Clear its objective to access a locked room/vault to get high-quality loot.
    • Red Marked Locations – Complete one of these to gain access to the final objective.
    • Blue Marked Location (Center) – The final objective; complete it to extract out of the game.

Once you’ve loaded up into the game, make a route toward one of the red-marked locations and visit every named location on your way. This will help you find valuable gear and weapons to prepare you for the difficulty increase towards the end of the match. The objectives in locations will vary from simply fixing a fuse box to figuring out a code for a computer terminal.

    Loot & Gear Up

No More Room In Hell - Loot and Gear Up

On the topic of loot, you don’t have the option to equip a loadout before entering a match – yet. Instead, you’ll be scavenging for loot while on the ground and gearing up your character to face the challenges ahead.

How to Fix Junction Boxes in No More Room in Hell 2

Here’s a short guide covering how to fix No More Room in Hell 2’s wire boxes, as well as some tips that players should keep in mind.

You must stock up on all the loot you come across. Players can find some items in the open, while others are locked away inside named locations.

Always remember that the best loot is locked behind objectives, so complete those to get your hands on powerful weapons.

Here’s some essential loot that you’ll need:

    • Medkits and Bandages
    • Stronger Melee Weapons
    • Firearms (AR, Shotgun, DMR)
    • Ammo
    • Flashlight Batteries

    Complete The Final Objective

No More Room In Hell - Final Objective

After completing the objectives at one of the red-marked locations, you’ll gain access to the power plant. This is the final objective of No More Room in Hell 2 and requires teamwork to finish.

There are multiple phases to the objective, like turning on a particular component by entering specific access codes in it. The zombie hoard will increase in numbers, so there should be players dealing with hoard control while others focus on completing the objective.

Once the power plant is destroyed, the objective will be complete, and players will need to do one last thing before calling it a day.

Once the final objective is complete and the power plant is collapsing, players must now extract via the helicopter. As mentioned before, No More Room in Hell 2 features a permadeath mechanic. This means that if your character dies, you will lose them, along with all the skills and character XP they accumulated.

To avoid losing your character, rush towards the helicopter while tearing through the zombie hoard. Once you reach the designated location for Ex-fill, the helicopter will descend and open the cargo doors.

All you need to do is jump in, and you’ll have completed a match of No More Room in Hell 2 successfully. Now, you’ll be able to equip new skills on your character and queue for another match.
