    Motorola has today announced the launch of Motorola Signature in India, marking its entry into the ultra-premium flagship segment – a tier above the company’s mid-range Edge series. The new smartphone features a 165Hz OLED display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, and 7 years of OS updates. Let’s take a detailed look at its features, price, and availability in India.

    Motorola Signature Specifications

    Display and Design

    The Motorola Signature (Review) sports a 6.8-inch Super HD (1.5K) Extreme AMOLED display with infinite contrast, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. It delivers sharp visuals, rich colours, and cinematic depth. The panel offers 6,200 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, 10-bit colour depth, and a 165Hz refresh rate. The display is also protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

    Motorola Signature Launched in India with 7 OS updates & 165Hz display

    It comes with MIL-STD-810H military certifications and features IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, allowing submersion in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for 30 minutes and protection against dirt, sand, and high-pressure water.

    The phone is engineered to withstand drops up to 1.5 metres, shocks, vibrations, extreme temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C, high humidity, solar radiation, and high-altitude pressure.

    Performance and AI Features

    Powering the Motorola Signature is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, delivering flagship-level, AI-first performance with built-in Copilot and Perplexity integration. The octa-core chipset clocks up to 3.8GHz, scores over 3 million on AnTuTu, and offers up to 36% faster CPU and 11% improved GPU performance for smooth gaming, multitasking, and content creation.

    Backed by the Qualcomm AI Engine with up to 46% improved NPU performance, the device enables real-time, on-device generative AI experiences. Sustained performance is ensured by a 6,002mm² vapour chamber and ArcticMesh Cooling System, keeping temperatures up to 4.4°C cooler under heavy loads.

    The phone packs up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The smartphone also comes with moto ai 2.0, offering next-level intelligence accessible via a dedicated AI key. It introduces Next Move contextual suggestions that understand on-screen content and provide real-time actions. Creative tools include AI Image Studio, Sketch to Image, Style Sync, Text to Sticker, and Avatar Creation.

    Productivity-focused features include Catch Me Up 2.0, Pay Attention live transcriptions, AI Playlist Studio, Global Search, Auto Screenshot Blur, and seamless cross-device task flow through This On That. Users can choose between motoAI, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, and Google Gemini for intelligent assistance.

    Audio

    The Motorola Signature delivers immersive sound with Sound by Bose and Dolby Atmos. Dual stereo speakers offer louder, deeper, and clearer audio, complemented by content-adaptive tuning and Hi-Res Audio certification for studio-quality sound across music, movies, podcasts, and games.

    Camera

    The motorola signature features the world’s only Triple Sony LYTIA Pro-Grade Camera System, validated with the DXOMARK Gold Label certification. It includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 main camera, the largest 50MP sensor yet, delivering cinematic imaging with Dolby Vision video recording in 8K and 4K up to 60fps, Quad Pixel technology, advanced noise reduction, and 3.5° Optical Image Stabilization for ultra-stable results in any lighting condition.

    It is paired with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 periscope camera with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and up to 100x Super Zoom Pro and a 50MP ultra-wide + macro vision camera with a 122° field of view. For selfies, you will get a 50MP Sony LYTIA 500 front camera supporting 4K video at 60fps.

    Battery and Software

    The Motorola Signature packs a 5200mAh battery, offering up to 41 hours of usage. It supports 90W TurboPower fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and reverse charging.

    On the software front, the device runs Hello UI based on Android 16, with Motorola promising 7 years of OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates.

    Price and Sale

    The Motorola Signature will be available in three storage variants: 12GB RAM + 256GB, 16GB RAM + 512GB, and 16GB RAM + 1TB. The smartphone comes in two Pantone curated colour options – PANTONE Martini Olive and PANTONE Carbon. The handset will go on sale starting January 30, 2026, via Flipkart, Motorola.in, and leading retail stores across India.

    The device will be available at an effective launch price starting from ₹54,999, inclusive of a ₹5,000 instant discount on HDFC and Axis Bank cards.
