The OnePlus 15R might have gotten a price hike in India, but right now, it’s not something you can clearly see across all listings.

A screenshot shared by Piyush Kumar (@krpiyushh) on X shows the phone listed at higher prices on Flipkart. But when I checked the platform myself, those updated prices didn’t show up, which makes this a bit confusing at the moment.

New Prices Have Surfaced, But Not For Everyone

According to the screenshot, the revised pricing looks like this:

12GB + 256GB: ₹50,499
12GB + 512GB: ₹55,499

That’s about a ₹2,500 bump compared to what the phone launched at.

But here’s where it gets unclear. On Flipkart right now, the prices are still showing as:

12GB + 256GB: ₹48,988
12GB + 512GB: ₹53,669

So either the hike hasn’t rolled out fully yet, or it’s showing up only for certain users or listings.

Nothing Official From OnePlus Yet

There’s no word from OnePlus on this so far. And since this is based on a single screenshot that isn’t reflecting everywhere, it’s safer to treat this as unconfirmed for now.

If this is a real revision, we should start seeing consistent pricing across Flipkart and other platforms soon.

Why This Wouldn’t Be Surprising

Even if this turns out to be true, it wouldn’t be out of place right now.

We’ve been seeing smartphone prices slowly creep up across segments. It’s not just new launches. Even existing models are getting revised pricing.

A big reason behind this is the ongoing memory supply crunch. Costs for DRAM and NAND have gone up, and brands have been passing that on. Add logistics and currency pressure to that, and price revisions like this start to make more sense.
