How to Start Jet Kordo’s Legacy in Star Wars Outlaws

    SWO-Jet-Kordo-Featured-1

To start “Jet Kordo’s Legacy,” Kay will first have to acquire the Holotracker from ND-5. This will occur once Kay leaves Toshara and heads out to begin recruiting members for the heist. Not long after landing on the first planet you visit, Kay will get a call from ND-5 asking her to return to the Trailblazer.

When you arrive on the ship, ND-5 and the Holotracker will both be waiting near the workbench. Pick up the device from the bench, and ND-5 will Kay a rundown of how it functions. It is capable of reading Holodiscs, which unlock the first step to finding and entering each of Jet Kordo’s hidden vaults. The first Holodisc is included with the Holotracker, so Kay is ready to begin “Jet Kordo’s Legacy” as soon as she receives it.

    All Jet Kordo Hidden Vaults:

“Jet Kordo’s Legacy” features six individual vaults. Kay will visit the Toshara vault twice, meaning Kay will visit the vaults seven times to complete the mission.

    Jet Kordo’s Toshara Vault

    Finding the Holodisc:

    SWO-JK-Toshara-Vault-Hologram

The holodisc for Kay’s first visit to the Toshara vault is given to Kay with the Holotracker, so in this instance she’ll simply need to open the holotracker to see the disc’s content.

    Find and Follow the Signal:

Once Kay has the holodisc, she’ll need to head to the location depicted in the holographic clue. When you get to the location, you’ll need to find a specific symbol, usually painted onto a rock or wall. When you approach the symbol, you’ll get a prompt to ‘isolate frequency.’ At this point, the holotracker will turn to its tracking function, emitting a sound when you are heading in the right direction. Usually, the vault will be within walking distance of the symbol.

When you are heading in the correct direction, the holotracker will emit a steady beeping sound. If it starts to slow, then you are veering off course. If it becomes quiet, you are no longer going in the right direction. Follow the sound from the symbol, and at the end of the path, you will find a small, gray plaque that will allow you to insert the holodisc. When you enter the disc, a ladder will drop from the rock ceiling that leads to Jet Kordo’s first vault.

    • Key Reward: Scoundrel Belt

    Jet Kordo’s Kijimi Vault

    SWO-JK-Kijimi-Holodisc

    Finding the Holodisc:

To find the holodisc in Kijimi City, you’ll first need to interact with a specific NPC that will tell you where you want to go. To find the NPC, look for the small alley that connects two main streets to the east of where it says ‘Kijimiko Square’ on the map. See the map above for the exact location. Speak to the Mechanic to get the first piece of the puzzle.

The Mechanic NPC will send you to another NPC in the Thieves’ Quarter. Look for two NPCs standing against the corner of a building. Speak to them, and they will reveal that the holodisc is currently being held by Sabacc players.

    SWO-JK-Kijimi-Holodisc-Sabacc-Game

They will give you the general area that the game is being held in. Once you arrive in the search area, head inside the building shown in the above image. Win the round of Sabacc to collect the holodisc.

    Find and Follow the Signal:

When you get the holodisc, your next destination will be in the center of the city, where all the roads meet. The symbol will be tagged on the wall where the Queen’s Road and the road to the spaceport meet, on the southeastern side of the town center. See the map above for the exact location.

The signal will lead you to the holodisc reader, which is slightly above the entrance to the vault. Head down and clear out the second vault to move on to Tatooine.

On top of many successful movies, the Star Wars franchise has also seen a whole host of incredible games that have brought its universe to life.

    Jet Kordo’s First Tatooine Vault

    SWO-JK-TAT-1-Buried-Holodisc

    Finding the Holodisc:

The first vault in Tatooine can only be found after completing ”
    The Heavy
    .”

To begin the quest for the first Tatooine holodisc, head to Wayfair, in the southeastern corner of Tatooine. Once you arrive, look for two NPCs talking near a large, silver tank. They can be found on the western side of town. There is one NPC who Kay can speak with, labeled as an ‘Engineer.’ When you speak to her, you’ll see two options come up:

    • Pay for the Information
    • Use Your Contacts

If Kay has a Good or better reputation with the Hutts, the Engineer will give her the information for free. If not, Kay will have to pay 50 credits. You must have the information to move on to the next part of the quest.

This tip will lead to a cave in the Western Dune Sea that contains the Treasure Hunter’s Holodisc. Once you have the disc, you can begin the search for the signal rock.

    Find and Follow the Signal:

Looking at the hologram, you can see that the signal rock will be located southeast of Mos Algo. Head to the area shown on the map above, and look for a small group of rocks and bones. The signal rock is quite small and easy to miss.

Once you’ve isolated the signal, the holotracker will lead you out into the dune sea. Be careful, as there is a massive sandworm that will attack in the vicinity of the vault. The vault itself is a large, metal container buried in the sand. When you approach, look for the holodisc port on the side of the container.

    • Key Reward: Scoundrel Jacket

    Jet Kordo’s Second Tatooine Vault

    SWO-JK-TAT-2-Hologram

    Find the Holodisc:

To find the second holodisc on Tatooine, start by heading to the small town of Bestine. It can be found in the Imperial-controlled area around the center of Tatooine’s open-world area. Once you reach the town, look around the search area for two NPCs talking about pirates that stole treasure. The information you receive from the two NPCs will take you to Garrick Ranch, south of Bestine.

At Garrick Ranch, look for the structure in the rear. You want the building with the door you need to slice to enter. Inside the building, you’ll find the Damaged Holodisc on a small table.

    Find and Follow the Signal:

The holodisc will lead Kay to the stand of Tretet Zadiket, a Jawa merchant doing business out in the middle of nowhere. The signal rock is found on the outskirts of his business.

    SWO-JK-TAT-2-Vault-Location

Once you find the signal rock, the holotracker will lead you into a fairly simple platforming challenge. This will take you directly to the vault, which is essentially impossible to miss if you follow the course.

    • Key Reward: Sandcrawler Paint Job (Speeder)

    Jet Kordo’s First Akvia Vault

    SWO-JK-Akiva-1-Hologram

    Finding the Holodisc:

To find the Mysterious H olodisc on Akiva, you’ll want to head to the Market District in Myrra. There, you will encounter an unmarked and unnamed Scrap Dealer who will sell you the holodisc. Check the map image above to find the merchant, as they can be tricky to locate. Head to the exact location of the player marker.

    • The merchant will sell Kay the Mysterious Holodisc for 100 credits.

    Find and Follow the Signal:

Upon opening the holodisc, there will be a large structure clearly visible in the hologram. This is the Delma Water Tower. If you have not visited this location before, you can clearly see the structure on the map. It sits to the north of Myrra in the Karaba Foothills, and to the east of the Abandoned Hideout, where players meet the Expert MT-7, also known as The Veteran. It also sits very close to Salea’s Hand.

You’ll notice that the Delma Water Tower is on the northern edge of a river, and Kay cannot reach the location from the northern side. Instead, she’ll have to cross a fallen tree bridge from the southern side of the river. This will lead her straight to the desired area.

The signal rock is found near the eastern edge of the open area in front of the Delma Water Tower. It is found next to a stone wall and several perfectly round rocks. Isolate the frequency, then open the holotracker to follow the signal. The signal will take Kay back across the fallen tree to a set of ruins near Salea’s Hand. The hoodisc port will be in an ancient looking wall. Enter the Overgrown Vault and collect the rewards.

There are some amazing Star Wars games for those looking for something immersive in the first-person perspective in the galaxy far, far away.

    Jet Kordo’s Second Akiva Vault

    SWO-JK-Akiva-Vault-2-Hologram

    Finding the Holodisc:

Once you complete the first vault, ND-5 will let you know there’s a second vault on Akiva. To begin the quest for the holodisc, check the Outlaws Legends intel section. Make the second vault’s quest ‘active,’ and you’ll see a mission marker near the spaceport in Myrra. The marker will be titled “Betrayed”

You’ll see that the search area covers a small section of the Hutt district, and this is where you’ll need to go. Just before the gate, you’ll see two Hired Guns talking about a ‘new guy.’ If you head to the corner of the building, you’ll see a ‘Listen’ prompt. Listening to the conversation will lead Kay to the Hutt Poaching Outpost, which sits up against the Great Basin on the western edge of the Akiva open-world area.

Head to the quest marker within the outpost. Once there, you’ll need to have Nix steal the holodisc from the marked enemies. Hold down LB/L1 to reveal any enemies that Nix can steal from. In our playthrough, the correct enemy stood alone, making it easy to pick them out. Once players have the Stolen Holodisc, they can move on to finding the signal rock.

    Find and Follow the Signal:

The hologram clearly shows that the signal rock is near an island, which means that it will have to be in the Great Basin. The correct island is found in the northern section of the lake. The location you want to visit is actually a small rock that sits off the southwest edge of a much larger island. The signal rock is found on the northern side of the small rock island. Isolate the signal and follow it north, to the northernmost edge of the lake.

When you reach the area under the large, overhanging rock, you’ll want to head out to the northeastern edge. You can’t reach the vault door by going directly north. You have to come from the east and use the speeder to jump off a ramp and cross a large gap. When you land, you’ll be right at the holodisc reader and the Forgotten Vault door.

When you enter the vault, be careful collecting the treasure. When you go to open the chest, an alarm will begin to blare and a laser turret will emerge and start shooting at Kay. Use Nix vision to highlight the room, and you’ll see the turret’s power box. Send Nix to shut it down, then you’ll be free to open the chest. This is where you’ll get the Scoundrel Pants and complete the Scoundrel Set.

    • Key Reward: Scoundrel Pants

When Kay collects the Scoundrel Pants from the second Akiva vault, she will unlock the ‘It’s Mine Now” trophy achievement for collecting the Scoundrel set.

    Jet Kordo’s Final Vault

    Finding the Holodisc:

    SWO-JK-Final-Holodisc

The final holodisc can only be acquired once Kay has collected all the others. Once she has them all, ND-5 will call Kay back to the Trailblazer and inform her of the final vault. This time, there’s no puzzle to solve, as you’ll be returning to the vault on Toshara.

When you enter the vault, you’ll find another holodisc port on one of the walls. Insert the final holodsic, and a new chamber will open up, revealing Jet Kordo’s final recording and treasure chest. Given that Jet Kordo was the Trailblazer’s original owner, there is a nice bit of lore to be found here. The final chest contains the Cocktail Umbrella Major Charm. It can take the place of any piece of equipment for the purposes of activating the set bonus. Meaning, if Kay wants to wear two pieces of the Scoundrel set, and a piece of the Thief set for its ability to shorten the stun cooldown, she can still get the Scoundrel set bonus if she has the Cocktail Umbrella equipped in the Major charm slot.
