Side Mission 144: Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery is a side quest in Pokemon Legends: Z-A where a trainer wants the player to find a very specific spot in-game using only a single picture as a reference.
Finding the correct bench the quest giver is looking for requires a lot of exploration if players aren’t familiar with Lumiose City’s skyline, since there are no quest markers pointing to the exact location where the spot in question is located. Here’s the breakdown.

How to Start Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery
Talk to Sasse, the woman with a 
Manectric by her side standing just south of Wild Zone 7, to start Side Mission 144: Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery in Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
She will tell you that she wants you to find a very specific bench on the rooftop where a picture of Canari and her Eelektross was taken recently. The only clue you have to go off of is the picture in question.
Canari’s Bench Location
The bench where Canari’s picture was taken is actually on a rooftop nearby. Head to the location marked on the map above and use the ladder to climb to the rooftop. Turn right to climb to the upper level, and you’ll find two benches side by side.
Canari’s bench is the one on the right. Interact with this bench to trigger a cutscene where Sasse will appear alongside her Manectric.
How to Take a Picture of Sasse at Canari’s Bench
Once you find the bench, Sasse will tell you she wants you to take a picture of her and her Manectric from the exact same angle from which Canari’s picture was taken. The location in question is the balcony on the nearby building overlooking the rooftop bench (shown above).
Circle around the rooftop path and follow the route detailed in the screenshots, and you’ll find yourself on the balcony. Walk up to the railing, and you’ll see Sasse and her Manectric sitting on the bench.
Walk up to the metal railing on the left, and a “Take Photo” prompt will show up. Press A to take the picture, and a cutscene will play out to finish the mission.
There are two spots on the balcony where the “Take Photo” prompt shows up, and only one of them is the correct one. There is no penalty for choosing wrong here, as Sasse will tell you to move to the other spot if the photo’s angle isn’t perfect.
Once you complete Imitation Is the Sincerest Form of Flattery in Pokemon Legends: Z-A by taking Sasse’s picture, she will offer you the following rewards:
