Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studios has confirmed that Prop Hunt, a much-loved party mode, will be returning with the game’s Season 1 Reloaded update. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6‘s very first season is set to launch on November 14 with a plethora of new content to jump into, but fans looking to check out Prop Hunt will need to wait until the mid-season update, which usually occurs approximately one month after the season’s release.
With less than one week to go until the release of Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1, publisher Activision has pulled back the curtain on all of the new content coming to both games in a massive blog post. From a new Warzone Resurgence map known as Area 99 to an abundance of new weapons and modes, Season 1 is shaping up to be a huge content update for the newly released shooter. November 14 will also mark the beginning of Black Ops 6‘s integration with Warzone, meaning players will be able to take all of their newly leveled-up weapons, operators, and fresh omnimovement skills right into the free-to-play Battle Royale title.

Prop Hunt Returning in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 1
As confirmed in the latest blog post and Season 1 roadmap for Black Ops 6, Treyarch is bringing back the fan-favorite party mode: Prop Hunt. Last seen in Black Ops Cold War, this hide-and-seek game mode sees players take on either the role of Prop or Hunter. The former must blend into the map as a prop while the Hunter’s objective is to seek out the hidden props and eliminate them before time runs out. There is some bad news though, as Treyarch has stated that the mode won’t be available at Season 1’s launch and will arrive in the mid-season update.
It’s currently unconfirmed as to when the mid-season patch will be released, but it usually arrives around one month after launch. Assuming nothing has changed, that means Season 1 Reloaded will likely released around Thursday, December 12, although this has yet to be confirmed by Activision or Treyarch and likely won’t be announced until closer to its release.
Thankfully, there’s still plenty of other content to check out in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 before the mid-season update. Multiplayer fans will have a plethora of new weapons to check out at launch, including the Krig C, Saug, Sirin 9mm, and more, as well as three new maps: Hideout, Extraction, and Heirloom, with even more coming in Season 1 Reloaded. As for Warzone players, expect a huge overhaul to the game’s UI and gameplay with the introduction of omnimovement, a new prestige system, body shields, streamlined inventory management, mastery camos, emotes, and much more.
And for the more competitive players, Treyarch has confirmed that Black Ops 6 Ranked Play will be released on November 21, allowing players to work their way through various different Skill Divisions in order to earn a plethora of exclusive rewards.
