Creating a character is one of the best parts of NBA 2K25 as it gives players the chance to put themselves into the game as literally as possible. When starting a file in MyCareer, players will be taken through an expansive customization process to craft the perfect player, including just about every aspect of how they look in it. Eventually, the size and shape of their body can be altered as well. This won’t have any effect on the character’s stats and abilities, but will give a purely cosmetic layer of options for players to choose from.
This form of customization is not available right away, and will require players to reach certain milestones to unlock new body shapes for them to use. To help anyone wanting to change the way their character looks in the game, this guide will walk through exactly how they can do so, as well as what they need to do to unlock more options.
How To Change Body Type
In order to unlock different body types in the game to choose from, you will have to complete Gatorade workout drills between gameswhile you explore the free roam area that will unlock Stars for the player to save up. Unlocking body types will require 50 Stars each. Unfortunately, players can only unlock 20 Stars per week, so saving up to unlock a body type is going to take a little bit of time.
Once they have unlocked a new body type, follow these steps to change your character to use it in the game:
- Head to the game’s menu and select the MyPlayer option.
- Select the Appearance option on this screen.
- Choose to edit the Head of the character.
- On this screen, scroll down to the Chest option.
- Choose the Body Type option on this screen.
- You can now select the body type that you want to use for your character.
It’s an easy process to follow once you know the steps and how to change the character to be exactly what you want. Now, you can go show it off in The City.
