Forecast Tower Locations in Fortnite
In previous season, there were four possible spawn locations for Forecast Towers, and only three of them would appear per match. In Chapter 5 Season 4, there are only two Forecast Towers in Fortnite, and here is where players will find them:
- On northern side of the mountain north of Sandy Steppes and east of Reclaimed Villa
- On the hill north of Dumpenhausen, south of Reckless Railways
In Chapter 5 Season 4, since there are only two towers, both of them will spawn every match. However, gamers might want to shield up and
find good weapons
before heading up there; they appear relatively early on into the match so several other players might have the idea to secure the same Forecast Tower.
How to Secure Forecast Towers in Fortnite
Forecast Towers have three stages, and since they’re connected, they change according to the Storm Circle. When the match starts, the Forecast Tower computer will have a message saying “Awaiting Forecast,” which means it’s not ready to be used yet, and there’s nothing gamers can do to interact with it.
Once there’s 50 seconds until the first Storm Circle starts closing, the message will change to “Acquiring Forecast”. At first, it’ll be at zero percent, and it will increases every second. It will reach 100 percent when they’re precisely one minute left until second Storm Circle starts closing.
At this point, the forecast will be ready to be secured and three Latverian grunts will spawn. The mini-boss is bigger than the two henchmen that walk beside him and gamers must take him out to get the Forecast Tower Access Card.
Although gamers aren’t required to take down the weaker Latverian Grunts, they definitely should to prevent them from attacking them.
Once gamers have defeated the mini-boss, it will drop the Forecast Tower Acess Card, which they must then bring to Forecast Tower computer to secure the forecast and always have access to the location of the next Storm Circle.
Besides the Forecast Tower Access Card, the Latverian mini-boss will also drop a Epic-Rarity Striker Burst Rifle, a Medkit, and a shield potion.
