Fallout Day, also known as Bombs Drop Day, marks the day that the Great War started in the Fallout universe, October 27, 2077. Due to the excessive use of nuclear weaponry, the Fallout franchise’s Great War started and ended on the same day in the official franchise timeline. Ahead of this year’s celebration, Bethesda has announced some of the festivities that will be taking place in Fallout 76. Also, fans should know what to expect from the other Fallout franchise games based on past year’s Fallout Day celebrations.
Every year for the past few years the Fallout franchise has marked this holiday with discounts across the franchise games and DLCs, as well as some special celebrations in Fallout 76. Bethesda also has something special planned to involve fans in celebrating this year’s Fallout Day. Overall, with how much the franchise has grown in the short time this year since the Fallout show’s release in early 2024, this year is shaping up to be the biggest Fallout Day celebration to date.

Special Fallout 76 Celebrations for Fallout Day 2024
Just recently, Bethesda revealed all the festivities that will be taking place for this year’s Fallout Day, including events that will be happening during the spooky season and for Fallout 76’s upcoming birthday. Some of these events may come as a surprise since they aren’t listed in Fallout 76’s Season 18 community calendar.

will be a great chance for players to reach rank 100 in the Season 18 Scoreboard by completing the repeatable challenge to earn XP.
The Fallout Day broadcast livestream is said to include a Q&A with some of the developers of Fallout 76, which will offer some sneak peeks of Fallout 76’s Gleaming Depths update, coming in December 2024, and potentially revealing information about other future updates, like the playable Ghoul character. This stream will also include a special montage from fans sharing fond memories and stories about the Fallout franchise’s positive impact on the community.
Following the Fallout Day broadcast, Fallout For Hope will be hosting a special celebration showing off some in-game parade floats made using Fallout 76’s CAMP base-building feature, among other festivities. Anyone tuning in to these streams can collect some unique Twitch drops to decorate their CAMPS in Fallout 76 with.
