How To Complete Emergence In Black Ops 6 Campaign
In the Black Ops 6 Emergence Campaign mission, players take on the role of Case, tasked with retrieving four Director Keycards to unlock access to the Biotechnology area. To accomplish this, they must complete the Cognitive Research, Advanced Combat Research, Administration, and Joint Projects labs by following the required steps and defeating the zombie bosses in each area.
Reach The Elevator And Answer The Phone
After falling through the void following the failed elevator jump, you’ll find yourself in a new room. Head straight to the door at the far end, then backtrack to the area with the mannequins on the right to pick up the axe. Be cautious from this point forward, as the mannequins will move when you’re not looking — so stay alert.
Return to the locked door and use the axe to pry it open, granting access to the facility. Once inside, make your way to the elevator at the other end. This will trigger restricted access and a vision of the Cradle’s effects. To proceed, you’ll need to eliminate the zombies that appear. After defeating them, the phone located in the central area will ring. Answer it to receive your next task: collecting the four Director Keycards. Additionally, this will unlock a complete map of the facility to aid your progress.

How To Get Yellow Director Keycard In BO6 Campaign
To obtain the yellow Director Keycard for the Advanced Combat Research wing, head to the southeast section of the map and enter the yellow building on the left. Inside, interact with the computer in the round elevator and input the codes: LIFT and ACCESS. This will activate the elevator, which will descend to the testing zone. Once there, search the area for weapons and equipment, then proceed to the spot where a mannequin is located in the elevator.
Locate the yellow keycard and pick up the Grappling Hook from the dead scientist nearby. Shortly after, the mannequin will transform into an Abomination. Quickly interact with the Grappling Hook to evade its initial attack. To defeat the Abomination , aim for its mouths (highlighted in yellow) and continue attacking until its health is fully depleted. Utilize all available equipment, including the turrets in the far corner of the room, to speed up the process. Once defeated, you’ll receive the yellow Director Keycard.
To escape the area, head to the elevator’s central section and look up to find a grapple point. Use the Grappling Hook to ascend through the available points until you reach the facility’s main hall. Upon exiting, be prepared to face a zombie horde. Defeat them and insert the keycard into the yellow slot at the central desk.

How To Get Red Director Keycard In BO6 Campaign
To retrieve the red Director Keycard, head to the western section of the map and enter the designated building. Locate the computer, interact with it, and attempt to open the bathysphere. This action will reveal the keycard’s location. To access it, you must first empty the tank, defeat the Director, and collect the keycard.
Use the Grappling Hook to reach the area above the tank and gather any scattered ammo, weapons, or equipment. Once prepared, dive into the water and follow the red-marked underwater path. Swim straight and take the right-hand route to reach the area for draining the tank. Climb the stairs to the white section, locate the room with the keypad, and use the blacklight to find numbers with pink fingerprints. These colors indicate the correct code:
- Green: Correct number and position.
- Yellow: Correct number, wrong position.
- Red: Incorrect number.
In the next room, interact with the computer on the right to enable three drain switches. Quickly activate the switches before the override timer ends. These switches are located in the current room, in the adjacent room, and near the water area where you entered across from the rooms. If done correctly, the tank will begin to drain.
Return through the underwater path to the now-drained bathysphere and attempt to pick up the red keycard. This will trigger an encounter with the Director, an armored Mangler. Focus your attacks on his weak points — the head and cannon arm — until you defeat him. Once defeated, he will drop the red Director Keycard.
Take the keycard to the central facility desk. Navigate to the glass room with a counter and exit through the same door you entered. Be cautious, as a horde of zombies will attack upon exiting. Clear the path and insert the red keycard into the corresponding slot on the desk.

How To Get Blue Director Keycard In BO6 Campaign
To acquire the blue Director Keycard for the Joint Projects wing, head to the western section of the map and access the blue building using the Grappling Hook. You can reach the balconies either beside the central desk or above the building’s main door.
Once inside, proceed to the corridor with glass doors, where you’ll notice a moving “No Entry” sign that vanishes as you approach. Continue to the glass chamber area, where the blue keycard is located inside the chamber. When you attempt to grab the keycard, a Mimic will appear, and you’ll need to defeat it.
Shoot the Mimic, aiming for its yellow-highlighted mouth to inflict maximum damage. The Mimic will hide by transforming into objects scattered around the room.
Look for objects that move abnormally or shift quickly to locate it.
Continue attacking until its health is fully depleted. Once defeated, the Mimic will drop the blue Director Keycard. Take the keycard to the central area and insert it into the blue slot on the desk.

How To Get Green Director Keycard In BO6 Campaign
To obtain the green Director Keycard for the Administration wing, head to the southeast section of the map and enter the green building on the right. Inside, locate the glass room to find the keycard. Next, proceed to locate the four reports scattered around the area. Check their locations below:
- First Report: On the round table in the central area.
- Second Report: On the third desk to the right inside the glass room.
- Third Report: In the kitchen/dining area, next to a lit lamp.
- Fourth Report: In the meeting room, under another lit lamp.
Once all four reports have been placed in the designated area outside the glass room, the Director (a red mannequin) will appear and attack before attempting to flee. Your goal is to defeat him by grabbing and pulling him toward you to break him. Repeat this process three to four times until he transforms into a Mangler.
Focus your fire on the Mangler’s weak points — the head and cannon arm — while avoiding attacks from mannequins and the Mangler itself. Continue attacking until its health is completely depleted. Upon defeating the Mangler, you will receive the green Director Keycard. Return to the central desk and insert the keycard into the green slot.
Enter The Biotechnology Elevator And Defeat The Disciple
After placing all four Director Keycards on the central desk of the facility, you’ll unlock access to the Biotechnology elevator. To proceed, eliminate the zombies that spawn near the elevator area. Once the path is clear, step inside and interact with the elevator controls to select the Biotech floor.
As the elevator ascends, the lights will suddenly go out, and you’ll need to answer a ringing phone. This action triggers the boss fight against a Disciple (Executive Director). While the Disciple isn’t particularly challenging to defeat — requiring only consistent gunfire — you must stay vigilant against the swarm of zombies in the area. Use the Grappling Hook to evade attacks, and ensure you’re well-equipped with armor plates and other items scattered throughout the arena.
Once you defeat the Disciple, a vision will reveal that you’re under attack and defenseless. However, just as the situation seems dire, your teammates, Marshall and Sev, arrive to rescue you from the Cradle’s effects. They also reveal that a significant batch of Cradle has been stolen, likely by an entity known as the Pantheon.
