Some of the world quests in Genshin Impact can result in big changes in Teyvat, like when players lift off the fog from Tsurumi Island. Similarly, The Mystery of Tecoloapan Beach quest falls into this category as you fight a Mimic Wayob Manifestation taking control over the Tecoloapan Bay islands.

How To Unlock Tecoloapan Bay In Genshin Impact
To unlock the Tecoloapan Bay in Genshin Impact, indwell a Koholasaurus and swim there manually. As soon as you get there, a weak voice will call for you to save them, starting The Mystery of Tecoloapan Beach quest in Genshin Impact. In order to complete the mission, you must scan four graffitis from different locations across the islands.
The Mystery of Tecoloapan Beach Quest In Genshin Impact
The Mystery of Tecoloapan Beach quest consists of the following tasks:
- Unveil the secrets of the island within the fog.
- Undo the island’s seals.
- Continue undoing the island’s seals.
- Head to the center that is sealed by the graffiti.
- Battle the Abyss-corrupted Wayob manifestation.
Graffiti 1 – Unveil The Secrets of the Island Within the Fog
The first graffiti is easy to find. All you have to do is climb the stone ring above the pool where you get the quest. Once you find the graffiti at the end of the stone ring, transform into an Iktomisaurus and scan it.
Graffiti 2 – Undo the Island’s Seals
The second graffiti is a huge mark on an eastern mountain that you can see clearly from far away. To scan it, you’ll have to climb the opposite mountain. There, you can find the rest of the graffiti, and you’ll be able to scan both together.
Graffiti 3 – Continue Undoing the Island’s Seals
It gets complicated for the third graffiti since it requires solving multiple puzzles. Start by following the quest marker to the end of the Tecoloapan Bay islands.
Underneath the mountain, you can find two enemies with a common chest in between them, protecting a hidden entrance inside the mountain. After defeating both, scan the mark on the wall using an Iktomisaurus, and you’ll open a hidden path.
Inside, there’s a weird drawing of a hole with a broken bridge. Scan it with an Iktomisaurus to open yet another hidden path through.
As you descend, you can see two torches graffiti on each side of the chamber, with one torch graffiti inside another chamber.
The key is to scan the three torches and place them on the three marks on the floor. However, once you enter the other chamber to scan the third torch graffiti, a gate will close, forcing you to use the torch inside that room to open the gate again.
The idea here is to scan a torch graffiti outside and place it inside the chamber before you enter. Now, when you enter the chamber, the gate won’t close, and you can smoothly scan the graffiti inside.
After completing the puzzle, you can descend further into the area to find the third graffiti and scan it.
Graffiti 4 – Head to the Center That is Sealed by the Graffiti.
The fourth graffiti is less of a puzzle and more of an adventure as you return to the center of the Tecoloapan Bay islands. Keep following the Mystery of Tecoloapan Beach world quest, and it’ll take you to a floating island.
There, you can find a broken wall with a piece of graffiti. Scan the mark underneath it and place it to complete the graffiti, then scan it.
Battle the Abyss-corrupted Wayob Manifestation.
Finally, follow the quest to enter a Night’s Trial in Genshin Impact. There, you’ll fight against the Mimic Wayob Manifestation to undo the seal and free the islands from their control. Finishing the Mystery of Tecoloapan Beach world quest will reward players with the Truth Cannot Be Fabricated achievement in Genshin Impact.
